The Interpreter Training Group was formed in 2011 by  Mr. Jeff Torres who has over 25 years of experience in the law enforcement & judicial fields.  Along with fellow professionals in the field, Mr. Torres and the ITG staff strive to provide the highest quality training to spoken language interpreters and language professionals.  With “real-time” information and training on current topics, the staff of ITG brings to the student many years of experience in both the law enforcement and judicial system, and on a variety of topics that are relevant to the professional interpreter.  ITG training sessions and webinars are always conducted in a professional and interactive manner via computer presentations, videos, “hands-on” displays, take-home media and role-playing scenarios. 

As always,  ITG continuing education is ALWAYS certified by the Judicial Council or Administrative Office of the Courts for Continuing Education(CEU) or CA CIMCE Credit! We are currently certified in the States of CA and Washington for continuing education courses, and look forward to becoming certified for continuing education in other states in the near future! 

ITG realizes that the learning environment in any educational situation is of the utmost importance and goes the extra mile to select venues that are both environmentally conducive to quality training, but also hospitable and pleasant places to stay if you are traveling as part of your training needs.
