Jeff Torres
Owner & Director, Interpreter Training Group

Welcome,

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the Interpreter Training Group.

When I began developing continuing education programs for court interpreters in 2011, my goal was simple: provide language professionals with practical knowledge they could immediately apply in the courtroom, during investigations, and throughout the justice system.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of law enforcement, investigative, supervisory, and court-related roles. Those experiences provided me with a unique perspective on the terminology, procedures, and real-world dynamics that interpreters often encounter but rarely have the opportunity to study in depth.

The programs offered through the Interpreter Training Group were developed to help bridge that gap. Rather than focusing solely on vocabulary, our courses provide the context behind the language. Participants explore how investigations are conducted, how evidence is collected, how cases are developed, and how terminology is used within legal and judicial settings.

Whether you are attending a live instructor-led program or participating in one of our self-paced distance learning courses, our goal remains the same: to provide relevant, engaging, and professionally focused education that strengthens interpreter performance and enhances confidence in challenging assignments.

I appreciate your interest in Interpreter Training Group and look forward to supporting your continued professional growth.
